On May 11, 2019, the first Jiangsu University Competition on Drawing and Modeling of Human Body Structure, sponsored by the Department of Basic Medicine of Medical College and sponsored by the College Youth League Committee, came to a perfect end. Dean of teaching affairs of jiangsu university Professor Jia Zhihong, Vice Dean of the Department of Basic Medicine of Medical College, Professor Xu Xiao, Director of the Department of histology and embryology Professor Lu Xiaodong, Professor Chen Kesheng of Anatomy Department of Medical College, and Zhou Zhengrong of Histology and Embryo Teaching and Research Department was invited to participate in the activity. The competition attracted Chinese and foreign medical students from all majors of our university to participate in it. Participants were ingenious and well-versed, using their solid theoretical foundation and innovative thinking to interpret the secrets of human body structure and promote the popularization of medical knowledge. This activity lasted two months, collecting more than 60 drawing works and more than 20 modeling works. Combining the comments of judges and teachers and the voting and exhibition of the works in our WeChat public account , finally two first prize, six second prize and eight third prize for the drawing section , and two first prize, three second prize and four third Prize for the modeling group were announced.
This activity is a bold step towards innovative teaching in our college. It aims at guiding medical students to pay attention to the theoretical study of human body structure, strengthening the artistic abilities of medical students , implementing the comprehensive reform of "three all-round education" and promoting the steady development of school education. At the same time, the competition between Chinese and foreign medical students is also a highlight of this activity. To strengthen the innovative expression of international medical education, we have built a bridge of friendship between Chinese and foreign students, which will contribute to the internationalization of our college.
